| How I Got Started Dancing |
Well I took ballet lessons when I was 5... but i guess it doesn't count! So: I started off in high school with a bit of modern jazz/hip hop, then got caught by rock 'n roll. I fell in love with partner dancing so I also started salsa and argentinian tango.
The salsa classes I went to were in Paris (good technic but style unidentified by me till now!) and in Switzerland (Cuban). Now I'm hoping to improve in ladies styling!
I'm so glad I found the Dunedin salseros... I arrived in Dunedin in June and spent 4 months asking everyone "Do you know where I can dance salsa?" before finding you! |

| How I Got Started Dancing |
It all started many moons ago, doing that student thang, getting drunk so could get onto the D4. Realised I Loved dancing and liked learning new moves, usually off MTv watching JT ; ) and could do at sober *shock*
Then when I met Iain (who also likes to, move) who showed me the basic steps and convinced (kicked, cajoled and dragged) myself to come along to thurs nights and once I tried that... Well now I'm in the Intermediate class and getting to as many Beginners sessions I can fit in as well as recently gaining third place at the south island competition |
| Dancing Styles I Enjoy | Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, just going clubbing/pubbing. You teach it, I'll try to learn it! |

| How I Got Started Dancing |
It was in August 2004 that I found an ad from Arif in my letter box about salsa at Lone Star. So, I convinced some friends from work to come and learn this dance, although, in the end, I was the only one who stayed on and got addicted to Salsa.
Soon, I changed to Rebecca's and Alfonso's classes and continued learning not only salsa, but also other Latin American dances such as Bachata, Son and Merengue.
I have now moved to Melbourne, and go dancing in the many salsa clubs and schools this city has to offer. My new love is Zouk, which I am learning with Donovan, and I hope to get better at it soon. :-) |

| How I Got Started Dancing |
| I found out about salsa through a friend from uni in Auckland. Then of course i got completely addicted to it. A year later I moved to Dunedin where I met an increadable group of salsa people. They are a charming bunch, warm and reliable but most of all talanted dancers. These guys really inspired me. Thanks Dunedinites!!! =) |
